Who can register?

If you are providing something of value to your community, whether that be a talent, a service or something in development, this is for you. Register and tell a friend.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Our project.

Up to 70 participants will be selected to receive a free 15 minute photo shoot and additional education on digital marketing. Each participant will receive their full session, delivered via email, and one retouched image. And yes, you can use the images however you’d like.

Will this cost me?

You will not be charged a dime for this service. We are donating our time and resources to promote local businesses, provide a meaningful service to others, and to bring together great minds.

Even parking is free ^_^

Where: Compton Kidz Club

The Compton Kidz Club has donated their dance studio as our main creative space! A huge thank you to Fred Martin and the administrative team.

About Compton Kidz Club

Fred Martin is putting Compton, CA back on the Map. In 2002, Fred Martin created the Urban Entertainment Institute, teaching dance, music and entrepreneurial skills to talented youth in the Compton area.The youth in his program have since performed and been featured on The Ellen Show, Steve Harvey, ABC Philadelphia and numerous media outlets.

In support of their tremendous work and growth, 70% of all donation will go towards CKC. The money will support their recording and dance studio, studio maintenance and creation of new opportunities for incoming and current teens. All remaining donations will go towards the execution of the Headstart Photo Project.

Why are we doing this?

Professional photography can be expensive and often feel inaccessible. I know this first hand. It is my stand to create opportunities for everyone who is dedicated to providing a service to others to have professional representations, and opportunities for their voices to be heard powerfully. On September 23rd, Sean and I are volunteering our time and resources, with the help of the Compton Kidz Club and our team, to provide you with what would usually cost top dollar. This is our gift back to the LA community.
